Logging in with Blackbaud ID and Multi Factor Authentication

Your account security is our top priority. For this reason, we’re bringing new enhancements to your JustGiving account, as an added layer of security. We will be replacing JustGiving Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) that you currently use to log in, with Blackbaud ID

What is Blackbaud ID?

Blackbaud ID means you'll have one set of login credentials to securely access your JustGiving account and all other Blackbaud products and Support resources. It also gives you access to MFA with a mobile device.

What is Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)?

Multi-Factor Authentication or MFA provides an added layer of security for you when logging in to your JustGiving account. It’s a way of confirming your identity with more than just your email address and password, using a second “factor” to prove your identity and protect against identity theft. This means that when you log in, a one-time password will be sent to an MFA app of choice on your phone or via SMS. You’ll need to enter this in addition to your username and password. You have the option to pause MFA for 30 days when using the same device and browser to log in to your JustGiving Account.

What does this mean for me?

After February 19th 2024, you can choose to either set up Blackbaud ID to continue using MFA to log in, or, if you prefer, you can opt to disable MFA for now.
