I have concerns about a Crowdfunding Page, what should I do?

To look out for our users, we run ID checks on every Page owner, so you can trust that they’re exactly who they say they are. We also hold their full name and address.

JustGiving Crowdfunding is all about positive community action, so we make sure that every Page explains what it hopes to achieve and where the money raised will be spent. You should be able to see how your donation would be spent when you read through a Page.

I have concerns about a Page, what should I do?

In the first instance, we advise people to contact the page owner directly with any concerns. These situations often arise out of a simple misunderstanding or miscommunication. You can contact the Page owner by clicking the ‘contact’ link on a Page (which appears at the bottom by the page owner name).

The Page owner should be able to let you know a little more about their project and when you can expect to see the funds raised in action.

When should I report a Page?

Whilst we can’t get involved in personal disputes, every Page owner has an obligation to spend the funds they raise as promised. If you believe a Page owner has failed to do this or is misrepresenting their project, let us know.

Failing to spend the funds as described constitutes a breach of our Terms of Service and is a potential criminal matter.

Click here to report a Page owner if you think they're misrepresenting their project or breaking any of our other Crowdfunding Guidelines.
