American Express and JustGiving are allowing Card Members enrolled in the U.S. Membership Rewards® program to use points for donations made through JustGiving.

Who can participate?

To participate, you must have a valid U.S. Membership Rewards enrolled American Express® Consumer Card, Business Card from American Express OPEN or American Express® Corporate Card, and be authorized to use points. Click here to view eligible Cards.

How do I change the authorization status of my Additional Card Member(s) to use Membership Rewards points?

Please visit the Card Authorization section on membershiprewards.com to edit your settings or call Membership Rewards program Customer Care at 1-800-297-3276.

If you are enrolled in the Corporate Membership Rewards program and are not sure if you have permissions to redeem, please call Customer Care at 1-888-800-8564.

Can I use points for all charities on JustGiving?

You can only use Membership Rewards points for United States charities registered as 501(c)(3) listed on the JustGiving site.

Can I use points for monthly donations on JustGiving?

Unfortunately, you can only use Membership Rewards for one time donations on JustGiving.

Can I transfer points to a charity on JustGiving?

No, however, you can apply the value of the points to a cash donation for the charity.
