A group fundraising page allows multiple people to raise money together on a single fundraising page for the same charity.
This is different from a team page, which links multiple individual fundraising pages together while allowing each fundraiser to manage their own page separately.
Before you get started with a group page, please note:
- The JustGiving account used to create the group page will be the only account with admin access
- All donations, updates and fundraising activity are collected on one shared page
- If individual fundraisers want their own pages while contributing towards a shared total, a team page would be a better option
When creating your fundraising page, make sure to:
- Choose a page title, story and web address (URL) that represent the group rather than an individual fundraiser, as these will be visible to donors and shared by everyone in the group
- Set a fundraising target that reflects the group's overall goal
- Complete the remaining page setup steps as normal
You can also update the name on your JustGiving account to display your group name rather than your own name. This name will appear on the fundraising page and in the thank you emails sent to donors.
For example, you could put 'JG' in the first name field, and 'Team' in the last name field
To do this, follow the instructions in this guide.
