JustGiving's livestreaming feature is no longer available.
Our livestreaming service, previously known as JustGiving Livestreaming (powered by StreamRaiser), has been retired and is no longer supported. This means you can no longer:
- Set up new livestream fundraising events through JustGiving
- Connect your Twitch, YouTube or Facebook Gaming account to a JustGiving page
- Use JustGiving livestream overlays, including
- Donation alerts
- Fundraising progress bars
- On-screen donor recognition messages
Any existing livestream overlays previously connected through the service will no longer display during broadcasts.
Can I still raise money on JustGiving?
Yes. Your fundraising and crowdfunding pages continue to work as normal, and supporters can still donate to them.Only the livestream integration has been retired. Donations, fundraising pages and crowdfunding pages are unaffected.
Can I still stream for my cause?
Absolutely. You can continue streaming on platforms such as Twitch or YouTube and direct viewers to your JustGiving page manually.
Many fundraisers choose to share their fundraising page by:
- Adding the link in their stream description
- Pinning the link in chat
- Adding the link to their Twitch panels or profile
- Mentioning the fundraising page during their broadcast
Supporters can visit your JustGiving page and donate in the usual way.
Why are my donation alerts or progress bars no longer working?
If you've previously used JustGiving livestream overlays, they will no longer function because the livestream service has been retired.
You may notice:
- Blank or missing overlays
- Donation alerts not appearing
- Progress bars no longer updating
- Errors in OBS, Elgato or other streaming software
Removing the old JustGiving overlay components from your streaming setup should resolve any related errors.
