Through JustGiving you can donate from anywhere in the world in one of five currencies: British pounds, US dollars, Canadian dollars, Australian dollars and euros.

If you're donating to a UK Crowdfunding Page, it's only possible to do so in British pounds.

If you're donating to an Australian charity, you can only do so in Australian dollars.

How do I choose my currency?

When donating to a Page for a charity, you can choose from one of five currencies in the drop down menu in 'Step 1' of the donation process. 

If your chosen currency isn't listed, you'll need to work out how much you want to donate in one of the  available currencies, a currency conversion website can help with this.

Your bank or credit card company may charge extra fees for international transactions. You should contact them for more information on this.

What fee do you take from my donation?

JustGiving does not charge fees for using the platform when donating to UK or Ireland charities, donors have the option to add a tip on top of their donation instead, for more information on this, visit this article.

We deduct the payment processing cost on each donation of 1.9% + 30p. If the donation is made is a currency other than GBP, the processing fee becomes 2.9% + 30p.

If the donation is eligible for Gift Aid, we claim the Gift Aid from HMRC on behalf of the charity. For this, we deduct a 5% Gift Aid processing fee, then pass the remaining amount to charity.
