Toucan JustGiving is a mobile app that lets you collect contactless donations using your smartphone. You can link the app to your JustGiving Fundraising Page, collect donations in person and have them added to your page total.
How to get started
- Download the Toucan JustGiving app. Download it from the Google Play Store or the App Store.

- Create your account. Register in the app and set up your profile.
- Connect your JustGiving page. Search for your JustGiving Fundraising Page in the app and link it to your account.
- Start collecting contactless donations. Once your page is connected, you can accept secure contactless donations from your smartphone. Donations will usually appear on your Fundraising Page within 24 hours.
Is there a cost for fundraisers?
No. It’s free to download the Toucan JustGiving app and connect your Fundraising Page.
When someone donates, they can choose to add a voluntary contribution to help keep the app free. If they do, the charity receives 100% of the donation. If they choose not to add a voluntary contribution, a small amount is taken from the donation before it is paid to the charity.
- £5 or lower = 50p
- £5.01 - £19.99 = £1
- £20 - £49.99 = £2
- £50 and above = £5
When will donations show on my Fundraising Page?
Contactless donations made through Toucan JustGiving will usually appear on your Fundraising Page within 24 hours.
Can donors add Gift Aid?
Yes. After donating, donors can scan a QR code on the confirmation screen to add Gift Aid to their donation.
Do I need mobile signal or Wi-Fi?
Yes. Your phone will need mobile signal or Wi-Fi to process a contactless donation.
