Posting updates to your page is a great way to keep your donors in the loop about how your fundraising is going.
We send a daily email with a summary of your updates to your donors who have accounts with JustGiving and have opted in to hearing from you when they made their donation.
How to post an update
- Log into your JustGiving account
- On your profile page click ‘Fundraising’. You’ll then see a list of your Fundraising and Crowdfunding Pages.
- Under the page you’d like to add an update to click ‘Edit’
- In the menu bar in the top left corner click ‘Updates’
- You can now write your update, add a photo and post it to your page.

How to share an update
You can share your update to Facebook, Twitter and email. Simply click on the share icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your update to show the options available.
What are Milestone Updates and how can you post them to your page?
There are four Milestone updates that you can post on your page to let your donors know you have reached 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of your target.
To post a Milestone update:
- Click ‘Milestones’ under the Page updates text box.
- Select the available Milestone.
- Keep the default message or add your own.
- Post it to your Page.
How to post a fitness update on your Fundraising Page?
This feature is not available on Crowdfunding Pages
Click ‘Fitness’ under the ‘Page updates’ text box. This will show you what fitness devices you have connected to your Fundraising Page.

How to delete an update showing on your Fundraising Page?
- Log into your JustGiving account
- On your profile page click ‘Fundraising’. You’ll then see a list of your Fundraising and Crowdfunding Pages.
- Under the page you’d like to delete an update from click ‘Edit’
- In the menu bar in the top left corner click ‘Updates’
- Scroll down to ‘Previous updates’
- Click the ‘Show older updates’ button until you find the update you’d like to delete.
- Click the 3 dots in the right-hand corner of the update and select ‘remove update’.
