What are JustGiving fundraising achievement badges?

JustGiving’s fundraising achievement badges are special rewards you’ll get when you reach milestones along your fundraising journey! They’re a great way to showcase the impact you’ve made for the charity or cause important to you.

How do I get on the board?

It’s simple…all you need is to want to make a difference for charity!

Get on the Overall board:  Use JustGiving to raise money for a registered charity in the UK and get one or more donations to your Fundraising Page in 30 days.

Get on an Event board: Use JustGiving to raise money in a specific upcoming Event with more than 200 fundraisers on JustGiving (e.g. London Marathon, Great North Run, Royal Parks Half Marathon) and get one or more donations to your Fundraising Page in 30 days.

Why am I on the board?

Did you find yourself on the board? Congratulations – you’re a fundraising hero!

If you’re not part of an Event, you qualified for the Overall board by fundraising for a registered charity in the UK and had one or more donations to your Fundraising Page in the last 30 days.

If you’re fundraising in an Event with 200 or more fundraisers on JustGiving, you’re showing up because you’re one of those incredible fundraisers and you’ve had one or more donations to your Fundraising Page in the last 30 days.

Why can't I find my page on the Fundraising Heroes board?

Overall board: You won’t see your page if you haven’t gotten any donations for 30+ days. To rejoin, start getting donations again!

Event board: Event boards will no longer show 21 days after the event date. If your page is still receiving donations after 21 days, it will still show on the overall board. If there haven't been donations for 30 days after this period, the page is removed from both boards.

Why can't I find an event?

Events only have a board if they have more than 200 fundraisers on JustGiving and are taking place in the future, or took place less than 21 days ago.

If you’re doing an Event on JustGiving and don’t see a board for it – share it, rally your friends and family, and get more people involved to have it show up!

How long will my page be on the board?

If you’re not part of an Event, you’ll continue to appear on the board if you've received donations in the last 30 days, and if your page hasn’t expired.

If you’re fundraising in an Event on JustGiving, your page will show on that specific event’s board until 21 days after the event date has passed, and if you’ve received donations in the last 30 days.

Can I opt out?

Yes, you can choose to have your Fundraising Page removed from the boards any time. However, if you opt out, you can’t rejoin!

If you create a new page in the future, that page will automatically show up on the boards, which you can then opt out again if you choose.

Note: In Memory Fundraising Pages are automatically excluded from the overall board and all Event boards.
