There are two different ways to reflect donations received elsewhere. It’s important to decide how you’d like to handle the money first, either by donating it directly to the charity through another method and then reflecting this as an "offline" amount, or by paying the funds into your own account and then donating it to your JustGiving page.
Update Raised Offline total
You can show donations that were not raised through JustGiving and sent separately to your charity, as a 'Raised Offline' amount, meaning they're included in your fundraising total and are shown in your supporter's list. Here's how:
- Log in to your account and click on your name/icon in the top right corner and select 'Fundraising'
- Click 'Edit' on the page you'd like to add the balance to
- Click 'Donations' along the side of the page or within the collapsed menu option
4. Select 'Offline donations' followed by 'Add offline donation'. Then fill in the 'Name' field (if relevant) and the 'Amount' field and then 'Add'.
5. To edit or delete an offline donation, select the one you want to manage and pick from the 2 options.
The offline donation amount and name will show in the supporter's section of your fundraising page and your fundraising total.
Note: It isn't possible to add offline donations to a Crowdfunding page. Visit our Crowdfunding help area for more info.
Make an online donation using your own credit/debit card
Alternatively, you can pay the cash donated, into your own bank account and then make an online donation via your JustGiving page. If you choose this option and are a UK taxpayer, make sure that you un-tick the Gift Aid option during the donation process. Gift Aid should only be claimed when an eligible donor is making their own donation, not on behalf of someone else or a group.
